I'm first ... and from Scotland too! (Orkney isles!)
I am going to learn something new this year. Seemingly, if you do something for 10,000 hours, you become an expert.
What will I learn? - machine quilting, redwork, play a musical instrument, write a novel? Think I'll take a few hours/days to think what i m going to do.
What are you going to do?
Happy New Year!

I'm new to quilting so I would devour this book! Yay!!

One of my resolutions this year is to create a quilt a month for a local domestic violence shelter. They'll have to be pretty simplistic, but I'm hoping to run through all the material stash my mom gave me last month - material she's kept and collected since I was in high school!

Happy New Year!
