This one's for you friend.

My friend Abigail wanted me to post pictures of this quilt for her so here it is. This is a quilt that I recently did for one of the local quilt shops. I was so honored to be allowed to quilt it and when I brought it back I was doubly honored to have it placed in their front window.

This is the top before quilting.

When I brought it home, I couldn't for the life of me figure out how I was going to quilt it but with a little help from my friends and my computer it went quite well. I've been using Photoshop Elements and a Wacom Tablet to draw out designs for some of the quilts. I took an online class from Carla Barrett at Steponpins.com that was very good.
Here are close-ups of the quilting designs used on the quilt.
And the finished quilt.
(I'm sorry, I didn't get a good picture of the borders.)

Thanks for taking the time to stop by and please come again!

You make beautiful quilts!! I never learned this art but grew up with a mom and grandmother who were avid quilters.

Love the curved lines in the star background, I think it really accents the star.....
